History

Family and Community Service of Delaware County (FCSDC) is an incorporated, nonprofit, multi-service counseling agency serving Delaware County. FCSDC traces its origins from the Community Centre of Media which began operations in 1920. The present Agency resulted from the consolidation and merger of Delaware County’s five family service agencies between 1940 and 1946. FCSDC provides services from the office in Media, the Ralph Moses House in Chester, and in other community locations. Counseling is provided by highly trained clinicians with a wide variety of backgrounds and expertise.

FCSDC continues to cultivate and embrace all residents within our neighboring communities.
